Bodyharmonics School, founded in 1993 by Maria Mercati, is an institution dedicated to educating students in the Chinese healing arts of acupuncture and tui na. Maria's journey to become an expert in these healing practices began when she traveled to China to train with some of the country's most respected masters. During her studies, she developed a deep understanding of the principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), which she now teaches her classes at Bodyharmonics. Maria's background in acupuncture and tui na is complemented by her extensive knowledge in both Eastern philosophy and Western anatomy & pathology. Under her guidance, students at Bodyharmonics are able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles of Chinese medicine and its applications in the treatment of physical and emotional ailments.
